Team members

By the end of this guide, you'll know how to invite team members to your GiveForms organization, change their roles, and remove them when they leave. Takes about 2 minutes per invite.

Before you begin

You'll need an Admin role in GiveForms to manage team members. Viewers can't invite, edit, or remove other team members.

Invite a team member

1. Open Settings → Team.
2. Click Invite Team Member in the top right.
3. Enter the team member's Email, First Name, and Last Name.
4. Choose a role: Admin or Viewer. See Roles.
5. Click Send Invite.

Invites are sent one at a time. There's no team size limit on any plan.

What the invitee receives

The invitee gets an email with a link to join your organization. The link expires in 48 hours. If it expires before they accept, send a new invite.

What happens when they click the link depends on whether they already have a GiveForms account:

• New to GiveForms. They're prompted to create an account, then land in your organization.
• Already has an account (for example, they work with another nonprofit on GiveForms). Your organization is added to their existing account. They can switch between organizations using the dropdown in the top right of the admin, which also includes their account settings and a log out option.

Change a team member's role

Roles can be changed at any time, including promoting a Viewer to Admin or demoting an Admin to Viewer.

1. Open Settings → Team.
2. Click the ... menu next to the team member's name.
3. Click Edit.
4. Choose the new role and save.

Remove a team member

1. Open Settings → Team.
2. Click the ... menu next to the team member's name.
3. Click Remove.

The removed user is logged out immediately and loses access to the organization. If they belong to other GiveForms organizations, those remain unaffected.

Two-factor authentication

2FA is configured per user, not per team. Each team member enables it from their own account settings. There's no team-level enforcement option today.
