Roles
GiveForms has two roles: Admin (full access) and Viewer (Activity section only — no Campaigns or Settings).
GiveForms has two roles: Admin and Viewer. Roles are assigned per organization, not per user — the same person can be an Admin in one organization and a Viewer in another.
Admin
Full access. Admins see all three sections of the left navigation — Activity, Campaigns, and Settings — and can do anything in the platform: create and edit campaigns, change settings, manage integrations, invite or remove team members, connect payment processors, process refunds, and view all donation activity.
Most accounts have at least two Admins so the organization isn't dependent on a single person for platform changes.
Viewer
Activity-only access. Viewers see the Activity section of the left navigation — the donation feed, Insights Dashboard, refunds, recurring plans, and exports — with full read and write access to donation operations.
The Campaigns and Settings sections are hidden entirely. Viewers cannot create or edit campaigns, change organization settings, manage integrations, invite team members, or connect payment processors.
The Viewer role is appropriate for finance staff, executives, and board members who need full visibility into fundraising activity — and the ability to handle donor-level operations like refunds and receipt resends — but who don't configure campaigns or platform settings.

Changing or assigning roles
Roles are assigned when a team member is invited and can be changed at any time. Promoting a Viewer to Admin or demoting an Admin to Viewer takes a few clicks. See Inviting team members.
Two-factor authentication
2FA is configured per user, not by role. Both Admins and Viewers enable it from their own account settings.
