Appeal

Add a photo, short narrative, and optional fundraising goal beside the popup. The appeal does the persuading when the host page doesn't.

The appeal is an optional panel that opens beside the popup with a photo, a short narrative, and an optional fundraising goal. Think of it as a small ad for your campaign: it does the persuading when the page the popup opens from doesn't. Skip it when the surrounding page already makes the case for giving.

Enable the appeal

Click the Form Features tab in the left sidebar, then toggle Donor Appeal on, or click Edit to open its panel directly.

Title and description

The title is the appeal's headline. The description is a short narrative, up to 250 characters, on why the work matters and what donations make possible. Keep it concrete: name what the money does. "Unrestricted funds allow us to allocate our resources where the needs are greatest" works because it says what the gift accomplishes in plain terms.

Cover photo

The photo at the top of the appeal (1120 by 500 pixels). Warm, candid, human, and specific beats staged, generic, or symbolic: show the people or place the donation will help, not a logo or an abstract concept. The Donation Info panel's Use same cover photo from Appeal checkbox can reuse this image as the mobile header photo.

Goal

Toggle Goal on to show donors real-time progress toward a fundraising target: the amount raised so far, a progress bar, and the goal you set in Goal Amount. Two checkboxes control what displays alongside it: Show Total Donors adds the donor count, and Show Donor Info adds donor details.

A visible goal works when there's real momentum behind it. A progress bar sitting at 2% for weeks discourages donors, so turn the goal on when you can show progress worth seeing.

Social sharing

The Social Sharing toggle adds a Share this Fundraiser button to the appeal so visitors can spread the campaign.

How it displays

On desktop, the appeal opens as a panel beside the form. At tablet and mobile widths it collapses into an About this Fundraiser bar above the form, with the cover photo as the header. Check both in preview mode. See Preview and test transactions.
